Lawyers Travel Releases Quarterly Law Firm Business Travel Index

Indexes compare past twelve quarters’ trends for law firms and other industries.

Lawyers Travel, the 6th largest corporate travel management company by sales volume in the United States as ranked by Business Travel News, announced today that it has released its quarterly Law Firm Business Travel Index through the fourth quarter of 2011. The Law Firm Business Travel Index is updated quarterly.

The Index compares the preceding twelve quarters’ (i.e., 3 years) travel patterns for each group. Data includes:

- Law firms average airfare price paid by quarter
- Law firms average hotel rate paid by quarter
- Law firms overall average airfare ticket price paid by quarter
- Law firms percentage first, business, and economy class tickets by quarter
- Law firms breakdown of the percentage domestic vs. international tickets by quarter

In association with its parent company, the Ovation Travel Group, Lawyers Travel has also released the Financial Services Firm Business Travel Index and the cross-industry Corporate Business Travel Index.

The Law Firm Business Travel Index data is culled from a cross-sample of Lawyers Travel’s law firm clients, representing over $70,000,000 in annual air spend. The Financial Services Firm Business Travel Index data is culled from a cross-sample of financial services industry clients, representing over $50,000,000 in annual air spend. The Corporate Business Travel Index data is culled from a cross-industry-sample of clients, representing over $100,000,000 in annual air spend.
